New Zealander hits Two Aces in one round

Val Sills, 74, must be the ultimate golf perfectionist after hitting two-holes-in-one in a single round of golf but still not being satisfied.
"It wasn't a very good round altogether, I think it was pretty obvious right from the start that I wasn't concentrating very well," the retired dairy farmer said, miffed about his score of 14-over par.
Playing at his local course at Northern Wairoa in Dargaville, Sills sank his first ace on the fifth before following up barely an hour later with another on the ninth.
Club vice-president Robert Nathan confirmed Sill’s astounding achievement and the celebrations from the other players at the tiny course.
"There was an almighty roar when we realized what he'd done," Nathan said. "After the second I looked over at Val and he was just standing there holding his club, dumbfounded."
And Sills has previous. He hit a hole-in-one on the same ninth hole about a decade ago. A member for over 60 years at the North Island club, he was not overly bothered by his efforts, telling the New Zealand Herald that aces were just “a fluke of chance.”
"I always think of it as luck, not good golf," he said. "They [fellow players] were more excited about it than I was."
